Fisher Forums are local meetings designed to listen to fishers about matters that are important to them, to share knowledge and information about fisheries management and conservation initiatives that are relevant to both fishers and the NIFCA, and overall to support a thriving fishing industry where both people and nature can benefit.

Meetings are informal in nature, designed to encourage discussion, and will be followed by refreshments. Meetings will be recurring and NIFCA will aim to drop-in to harbours and ports throughout the district multiple times through the year.

Please see a table of times and locations from the first round of forums which has now ended. We will be releasing dates of the next round shortly, so please keep an eye on this page and our social media to get the update.

Everyone is welcome, including family members and retired fishers.
