On 22nd July the Sea Cadets joined NIFCA Officers on board St Aidan after being selected as the lucky winners in the Sea Cadet raffle. Everyone had a great day out and even the sun shone brightly! After the very successful naming ceremony of St Aidan in August 2015, NIFCA was approached by Tyne Tees News Presenter Jonny Blair who was interested in doing a feature on St Aidan and the duties and responsibilities of NIFCA. The Fisheries Local Action Group (FLAG) programme is a process for using funding to help create jobs and economic growth in marine and fisheries sectors.
