The above byelaw came into force on 1 January 2014.

Northumberland Inshore Fisheries & Conservation Authority (NIFCA) will be holding Open Meetings at Fourways Centre in Amble on 1st July 2013 and then at the Bamburgh Castle Inn in Seahouses on 2nd July, both beginning at 6.30 pm regarding the DEFRA Revised Approach to the management of commercial fisheries in European Marine Sites.
The aim of these meetings on 1st and 2nd July will be to provide up to date information and get feedback from fishermen and other interested parties to inform the process of preparation which is now being undertaken. NIFCA would request any readers who would like to attend to confirm with the NIFCA office beforehand to enable NIFCA to have an idea of the number of people who will attend, but an appointment is not necessary to attend either event.

Effective immediately the charge for replacing lost tags is 5p per tag
Eg/ £40 for 800 lost tags plus £5 administration charge in all cases (and also applies to hobby fishermen)
