NIFCA is pleased to announce its Berried Lobster Permit Condition which can be found in Paragraph 13 of Byelaw 4 “Crustacea and Molluscs Permitting and Pot Limitation” (& which replaces the NIFCA Emergency Berried Lobster Byelaw which expires on 18 February 2021).

NIFCA is pleased to announced that Defra has confirmed the implementation with immediate effect of the new NIFCA Minimum Size Byelaw will replace the FISH MOLLUSC AND CRUSTACEA MINIMUM SIZE EMERGENCY BYELAW 2019.

Fund will cover up to £100,000 of losses per business caused by delays related to the export of fresh or live fish and shellfish to the EU during January 2021.
