We will be pleased to welcome visitors to the NIFCA Quarterly Meeting on Monday 22nd July 2019 at 1pm. The meeting will take at the Defra Office, G14, Lion House, Willowburn Trading Est, Alnwick, NE66 2PF and topics for discussion will include the NIFCA byelaw review, MCZ updates, reports on projects and recreational activity in the district. All welcome. 

NIFCA are delighted to announce the arrival of our new Cabin RIB, “Robert Arckless MBE”, named in honour of the former Chair of the Northumberland Sea Fisheries Committee and NIFCA.

The Environment Agency have announced that on 10 July, a licensed net fisherman was given a substantial fine and made to pay legal costs after admitting breaking fisheries byelaws in breach of his licence conditions.
