Before completing this form, please ensure you have the following to hand:

  • Your permit reference number, found on your current or most recent permit
  • Your vessel name and Port Letters & Numbers (PLN)
  • Both your landline and mobile telephone numbers
  • A valid email address used to send permit return reminders
  • Your payment details — the current fee is £180.00

Please complete all sections of the form in full. Incomplete applications may cause delays in processing your renewal.

By submitting this form, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and that you agree to comply with all conditions of the permit, including reporting requirements and conservation measures. Further information on your obligations can be found in the district byelaws.

This online form is for the renewal of existing Commercial Shellfish Permits only. If you wish to apply for a new permit, you must contact NIFCA directly. Please email nifca@nifca.gov.uk or call 01670 797 676 to request a new application.
